Mini-Farm
What a great client! Having already purchased the home and property in anticipation of a move from Illinois to North Carolina, this client ran into problems with their relocation over distance.
Prep • Deliver
An evaluation of the lot turned up general grading and drainage issues that were quickly resolved. A few trees were removed and the house site leveled for the foundation which was installed and ready for arrival of the home.
Props to the drivers delivering these houses, absolute professionals! Both sections of this home were maneuvered into place in preparation for the crane that would lift each section onto the existing foundation.
Set • Assemble
The first section is lifted and carefully put into place on the foundation. Precision is key. It is critical that both sections align for stability and durability which reduces issues over the lifetime of the home.
With help from the crane, the roof is raised and secured into place before final setup tasks are tackled. After completing the roof, the crew will move on to connecting both sections to make the home complete.
Finish • Clean
Now we can turn our attention to the final details. Decks, porches, walkways, driveways, and garages are completed during this phase. In this case an outbuilding was also placed to house the client’s much loved horses.
All construction debris is collected, removed, and properly disposed of. The home is cleaned: dusted, swept, and vacuumed. A “once-over” is done to make sure nothing was missed and our client was ready to move in.
